Ask each vendor in the chain, including the phone provider and the AI provider.
- Will you sign a business associate agreement?
- Where are recordings and transcripts stored, and for how long?
- Who can access them?
- Is data used to train models?
- How do I delete data on request?
Our position
We will not set up a medical office until a BAA is confirmed with the vendors involved. We do not describe our service as HIPAA compliant.
Get it in writing
Verbal assurances are not enough. Ask for the agreement and read it, ideally with a healthcare attorney.

Does a BAA make a setup compliant?
No. It is one requirement among several.
